Luis Boileve

Luis Boileve, one of four founding fathers of the MWG, was incredibly honored to participate in the Rose Bowl Parade. He arrived in California on Dec. 27 ready to take on the strenuous task of marching 5 miles in armor. Boileve was assigned to Company A Platoon 2 1st Squad. After training hard with his group of 8 troops, another squad soon joined in using Boileve as the pivot man. By lunchtime, Boileve's squad had 4 other squads quickly trained and able to prove they could handle the workload. Boileve became known as the Right Hand Marker and was instrumental in keeping order.

During his training, Boileve was one of two troopers to be asked to escort George Lucas to the Rose Bowl Parade Luncheon. Also accompanying the troops would be none other than Darth Vader himself. The storm troopers kept watch for Rebel Scum in front of the stage while Lucas gave his brief speech. After the luncheon, the trio returned to the other troops and resumed training.

Boileve's excitement was still in his voice a week later while giving the specifics of his duties. Three things stood out in his mind with the first being the chance to escort George Lucas. Boileve also commented on the site of seeing all the troopers lined up being "most impressive." But the thing that stayed with him the most was the brotherhood/sisterhood which was visible in just the few days all the troops were together. Boileve has plans on traveling to England for the European Star Wars Celebration IV to visit his new found comrades he met while trooping.
